Gift Deed

April 6, 1777

I Richard Cox in consideration of the good will and affection which I have 
and bearith to my son Micajah Cox both of Dobbs County, a tract of land 
containing 150 acres being the land whereon he now lives on the south side 
of Neuse River adjacent to a red oak on the River being the whole contents 
of the said patent. Also one other tract adjoining the aforesaid tract 
adjacent to an oak at the river.

Witnesses: John Kennedy, Robert Fellow and Richard Jordan
