Wayne County NC Register of Deeds
Bk 3, pg 428

Indenture made February 3, 1787 between Micajah Cox Planter and John Edwards 
both of Wayne, for 50 pounds land in Wayne on the Yellow Marsh containing 
200 acres.

One other tract joining aforesaid tract near the mouth of a certain branch 
with John Newels line containing 50 acres.

One other tract near Poley Bridge Branch, James Dinkins corner, Richard 
Basses corner, John Edwards line, William Miles corner, head of Wild Cat 
Branch containing 100 acres.

Witnesses: Josiah Cox and David Edwards
