Indenture made February 28, 1784 between Josiah Cox Planter and Smithson Cox 
Planter both of Wayne, for 15 pounds land in Wayne on the south side of 
Neuse River adjacent to the mouth of the Home Branch, Little Meadow Branch, 
Richard Coxes line, to the river containing 200 acres said land was granted 
by patent to Thomas Cox and upon the death of said Thomas Cox descended to 
Josiah Cox oldest son and heir at law to said Thomas Cox.

Witnesses: John Kennedy and William Fellow
