Bk 4, pg 11

Indenture made February 28, 1784 between Josiah Cox and Richard Cox son of 
Thomas Cox all of Wayne, for 15 pounds land in Wayne on the south side of 
Neuse River adjacent to the river bank, Little Meadow Branch, mouth of 
Brushy Branch on the river bank containing 220 acres which lands were 
granted by patent to Thomas Cox which upon his death descended to Josiah Cox 
as eldest son and heir at law to the said Thomas Cox.

Witnesses: John Kennedy and William Fellow
