Bk 5E, pg 176

Indenture made April 11, 1793 between Josiah Cox and Robert Cox both of 
Wayne Planters, for 15 pounds land in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River 
adjacent to a pine on the river bank.

One other tract on the south side of Neuse River and lower side of Falling 
Creek adjacent to William Westbrooks line, Richard Coxes line.

Both tracts supposed to contain 200 acres which said land was granted by 
patent to Thomas Cox and upon the death of the said Thomas Cox descended to 
said Josiah Cox as eldest son and heir at law to said Thomas Cox.

Witnesses: Jn Grandy, Anna Cox and Charity Cox
