Bk 8, pg 371

Indenture made March 6, 1805 between Richard Cox and Jesse Slocumb both of 
Wayne, for $820 land in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River adjacent to 
the river bank containing 179 acres.

On other tract joining the above tract adjacent to a stake in Robert Greens 
line, Thompsons Island containing 75 acres.

One other tract joining the above tract adjacent to a pine on the river 
bank, Greens corner on the swamp of the Great Marsh, Holmes line containing 
255 acres.

Witnesses: William Taylor and Mourning Smyth
