Indenture made September 16, 1821 between Lancaster Cox and Wm Kincey both 
of Wayne, for $375 land in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River adjacent 
to the west side of Home Branch, Smithson Coxes line containing 37 acres.

Witnesses: Joseph Dowdee and John Brown Peacock
