Indenture made April 15, 1837 between William Sox Senr for good causes and 
valuable consideration me advancing in years have given to my beloved son 
William Cox Junr all of Wayne, part of a tract that I purchased of Wilie 
Jernigan lying in Wayne and Johnston counties adjacent to Little Mill 
Branch, Grantham's corner, Mill Branch, Hog Pen Branch, Stevens line, bank 
of Mill Creek together with the half of the saw and grist mills now in 
operation on the premises - the other half I intend to give to his Brother 
Micajah. (no acres given)

Witnesses: Sanders P Cox and Zilpha Cox
