Wayne County NC Register of Deeds
Bk 2, pg 139

Indenture made January 31, 1784 between James Dinkins and Micajah Cox both 
of Wayne, for 30 pounds land in Wayne on the Yellow Marsh containing 100 
acres.

One other tract joining the afsd tract at the mouth of a certain branch 
adjacent to John Newells line containing 50 acres.

One other tract adjacent to the Poley Bridge Branch, James Dinkins own 
corner, Richard Basses corner, John Edwards line, William Miles corner, Wild 
Cat Branch containing 100 acres.

Witnesses: John Kennedy and Cornelius Outland
