Edwards and others bounded as follows: Beginning where Marshy Branch crosses the Newbern Road and runs thence with said road to some pointers at the foot of the West School-house path, not far from said School-house (formerly) but now known as Pott's Corner, south side of said path, Lovey Fields's corner containing 65 acres more or less. It bordered the south side of the eastern end of Potts road intersection with Genoa road and south along Genoa road down and up the hill half way to the intersection of Genoa and Outlaw roads. ----- Goldsboro Daily Argus - Jun 12, 1920 Yeserday's Rain Storm Damages Lots of Property The home of Mr. Jasper Potts, the family consisting of father, mother and two children, with Mr. Potts sick abed and his attending physician with him in the house when the storm broke, was completely demolished with the exception of the room in which he was abed, in which his family had gathered. Mr. Potts and his family were removed to the home of his brother, where they are being cared for near Genoa.
