Deed made 25 Jan 1913 from L. N. Grant wife Alice B., John F. Bowles wife Mabel 
G., Clarence E. Wilkins wife Minnie G., John H. Grant wife Margaret H., Daniel 
F. Gay wife Emma G. of the first part and Hiram L. Grant of the second part, for 
$5 land in Wayne containing 30 acres in Goldsboro Township adjoining the lands 
of J. E. Peterson and others and bounded as follows:
Beginning in the center of public road leading from Goldsboro direct to the 
Eastern North Carolina Lunatic Asylum adjacent to Festus Howell, Needham Hines, 
Frank Moore, Jos. Thompson, Samuel Coley, Jesse Graham, Benjamin Aycock, center 
of old Waynesboro Road, W. F. Kornegay, Asylum Road;
Being the same tract of land conveyed by J. Newton Green and wife to Lizzie G. 
Grant by deed dated Oct 19, 1890 and registered in Book 61, page 576 and made 
part of the description of this deed.
