Collier Lots 18 & 21 Wayne County Deed Book 23, p 367-368 State of North Carolina Wayne County This Indenture made and entered on this the 18th day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty seven between John W. S. West and David B. Everitt of the county and state above written of the one part and George W. Collier of the county and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said John W. S. West and David B. Everitt for and in consideration of the sum of twenty dollars to them in hand paid by the said George W. Collier the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain sell alien enfeof and convey unto the said George W. Collier his heirs and assigns forever all of two certain lots or parcels of land situate lying and being in the Village of Everittsville in the county and state aforesaid being known and described in the plan of said Village as lot number 18 and 21 and being the lots whereon the said George W. Collier resides at this time and containing in all two acres of land to have and to hold the said lots hereby conveyed and all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said George W. Collier his heirs and assigns forever and we the said John W. S. West and David B. Everitt by these presents doth obligate and bind ourselves our heirs executors administrators and assigns to warrant and ever defend the right and title to the above mentioned lots unto the said George W. Collier his heirs and assigns forever free and clear of all claims or demands of ourselves our heirs and every other person or persons whatever in testimony whereof we the said John W. S. West and David B. Everitt have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals on the day and date above written. John W. S. West {Seal} David B.
