McKinne Lots 5, 6, 8 & 9 Wayne County Deed Book 36, p 36 This Indenture made this 30th day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty between John Everitt of the county of Wayne and State of North Carolina of the one part and David F. McKinne of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said John Everitt for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said David F. McKinne at and before the ensealing delivery of these presents the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain sell alien enfeof confirm and convey unto the said David F. McKinne his heirs and assigns forever all of four lots of land in the Village of Everittsville on the south side of Neuse River and on the east side of the Wilmington and Weldon Rail Road and in county aforesaid and containing four acres of land more or less and known in the plan of said village as lots No. 5, 6, 8 and 9 and as more fully described as the place where the said Everitt lived with a large two story house and other out buildings thereon and on the east side of West Street. To have and to hold the above bargained premises with all and singular the buildings, improvements ways woods waters mines and minerals appurtenances privileges and commodities to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining. And I the said John Everitt do by these presents obligate and bind myself my heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the right and title to the above bargained premises unto the said David F. McKinne his heirs and assigns forever free and clear of all demands rights titles claims of myself my heirs executors administrators and every other person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and date first above written. John Everitt {Seal} Signed Sealed acknowledged and delivered in presence of W. C.
