Everitt to James H. Everitt witnesseth that the said David B. Everitt has for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand eight hundred & sixty eight dollars to him paid by James H. Everitt for a certain piece of land or lot of land lying and being in Wayne County and on the south side of Neuse River and on the east of the Wilmington & Weldon rail road including a part of the village of Everittsville and the house and lot on and in which the said David B. Everitt at this time lives, beginning and bounded as follows: At an oak stump on the Goldsboro County Road, G.W. Collier and David B. Everitts corner, thence with said Goldsboro Road S 10 W 126 poles to a bend in said road, thence S 37 W 26 poles to another bend, thence S 5 1/2 E 38 poles to another bend, thence S 9 W 55 poles, thence S 2 W 29 to a small black jack corner of the Church lot, thence West 20 poles to a stake, thence South 8 poles to a stake, thence East 20 poles to a stake, thence S 45 poles to a corner known as Smiths lot corner, thence West 66 poles to a stake within sixty feet of the center of the Wilmington Rail Road, if not within sixty feet it is about or near that distance, thence North parallel with said rail road about 80 degrees 280 poles to a stake on the east of the rail road about sixty feet from the center of said rail road, thence No 75 E 100 poles to the beginning containing by estimation one hundred and sixty acres. Witnesses: G.W. Collier and Wm. B. Smith -------------- David also bargains and sells the following personal property to wit: six beds, six bedsteads and covering for the said six beds, two mahogany bureaus, one mahogany wash stand, three common wash stands, one mahogany sofa, thirteen cane bottom chairs, sixteen common chairs, one fine mohair rocking chair, one common rocking chair, one marble slab table, four mahogany tables, three common tables, one ward robe, one fine side board, one writing desk, one tin safe for keeping provisions and crockery in, one mahogany side board, one carpet in parlor and rug that belongs before fireplace, one bundle of carpeting fifty yards, one infants crib and one infants chair, and one infants carriage, one infants high chair to set at table in, one clock, twenty four curtains, two sets of bed curtain, sixteen dishes, five dozen plates, one dozen cups and saucers, five stake dishes, three china bowls, one soup turun, five deep dishes, two china fruit baskets, two china sugar dishes, two gravy dishes, three wash bowls and pitchers, two dozen and a half of glass tumblers, nine goblets, four decanters, one glass shade, seven glass preserve dishes, one large glass bowl, six milk mugs, nine syllabub glasses, three spittoons, nine salt cellars, two glass spoon holders, five flour pots, five lamps, five candle sticks, three pair brass fire irons, three pair common fire irons, four pair shovel and tongs, five waiters, five wire covers, nine stone jars, six trunks, two bonnet boxes, one small painted box, five fire place screens, one large blue chest, one set of silver custons, two dozen white handle knives and forks, two dozen black handle knives and forks, nine silver teaspoons, eight large silver spoons, six silver desert spoons, one silver butter knife, one large silver ladle, two silver knife rests, one silver pickle knife and fork, two table covers, one small painted table in passage, four chamber pots, seven iron pots, four ovens, one spider, two tea kettles, two brass kettles, one grid iron, one waffle iron, one wafer iron, one frying pan, one boiler, one pair kitchen fire iron, two rolling boards, six trays, three kitchen tables, two sifters, one sausage cutter, two rolling pins, one water pail, two water buckets, two milk pails, three water tubs, one loom, two pair pot hooks, one coffee mill, two coffee pots, ten earthen milk bowls, one china teapot, one wash board, four smoothing irons, one metal spice mortar, three dozen fire pans, four cake cutters, six straw mats for table, three pieces track carpeting, two feather fly brushes, two family bibles, one spice box, nine yellow earthen baking pans, six stone jugs, five demijohns, one small gun, one brass finder, three cows and three calves, five yearlings, one large red bull, one blind mule, one horse cart, four common tin buckets, six common baskets, fifteen hogs.
