Everitt to William T. Morisey Lot # not given Wayne County Deed Book 27, p 521 North Carolina Wayne County This deed made on the 22nd day of October AD 1864 by David B. Everitt to William T. Morisey Witnesseth that the said David B. Everitt in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has bargained sold and conveyed and does hereby bargain sell and convey unto the said William T. Morisey a certain lot or parcel of land situate in the county of Wayne and Village of Everittsville and described as follows; beginning at the south east corner of a lot now owned by said Morisey and runs in an easterly direction parallel with the street in front of the residence of W. J. Hall to within about sixty feet of the corner of the lot formerly occupied by Mrs. Bunting, then in a northern direction parallel with the line of the Bunting lot to a point within about sixty feet of the said David B. Everitt’s fence, thence in a westerly direction parallel with said Everitt's fence to the north eastern corner, Morisey’s lot, then with Morisey line to the beginning containing about two acres, be the same more or less, To have and to hold to him the said William T. Morisey his heirs and assigns forever together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging. And the said David B. Everitt for himself and his heirs does hereby covenant and agree with said Morisey that he is seized of said land with full right to convey a fee simple estate therein, that he will warrant and defend the same against the lawful claims of all persons whatsoever; and that at any time hereafter he will execute to the said Morisey such other and further assurances as may be necessary. In testimony whereof the said David B. Everitt hath hereunto set his hand and seal. David B.
