Fields and James A. Fields both of Wayne, for $100 land in Wayne on the east side of the W. & W. Railroad adjacent to a small black jack, R. Fields corner, and runs then S 17 W 35 poles to a large pine on the old path or road then N 79 W 52 1/2 poles to a stake then N 26 W 4 1/2 poles to some black jack pointers then N 72 W 26 poles to a large black jack then N 43 W 12 poles to a stake then N 2 E 12 poles to a stake then N 28 E 18 1/2 poles to a stake then S 74 E 56 poles to a small poplar in Marshy Branch then S 4 poles to a small pine in Marshy Branch to the beginning containing twenty and a half (20 1/2) acres Recorded March 7, 1905 (Bennett and James were brothers.
