Josiah B., Lemuel and William B. Fields were sons of Jeremiah and Mary Fields 
of Greene County and appear in Wayne County deeds as early as 1841.

James A., Bennet C., Robert C. and Margaret B. Fields/Smith were children of 
Jeremiah and Elizabeth Fields, his second wife, and appear in Wayne County 
deeds as early as 1852.
