Mortgage deed made 11 Feb 1888 between R. C. Fields and W. S. Farmer both 
of Wayne, for $5 land in Wayne on the north of Nick Smith's land, on the 
east by James W. Edwards land, on the south by Jno. D. Capps land and on 
the west by McKinne's land containing 60 acres being land this day conveyed 
unto the party of the first part by W. B. Bowden and wife, this mortgage 
being executed for the purpose of securing the purchase money of said land 
which is payable to the party of the second part in payment of a mortgage 
debt held by him against said W. B. Bowden secured upon said land. 
Recorded: 26 Dec 1888. Mortgage cancelled (paid).
