        Wayne County }      Know all men by These presents

That I Stephen Grant of the County & State aforesaid for and in
consideration of the Sum of Two hundred & fifty Dollars to me in
hand paid by Arthur Crawford of the Said County and that the 
receipt whereof I do herby acknowledge having bargaind Sold and
delivered to the said Arthur Crawford a horse named Doland to
have and to hold the said premises unto the said Arthur Crawford
his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Stephen Grant for my 
self my Executors & assigns & administrators the said bargained
premises unto the said Arthur Crawford his heirs and assigns for
ever against the Lawful Claim or Claims of any Person what ever
& do warant & Defend by these presents in Witness where of I have
here unto set my hand & seal This 17th of June 1808
