To Surveyor Said County, Greeting. You are hereby Commanded to Layoff for 
Charles HINES, One Hundred Acres lying on Falling Creek and joining of his own 
line observing of the Act of Assembly made and provided in such cases and that 
you Return two fair plats of said land into the Secretary Office with a 
certificate annexed unto each according to Laws given my hand and seal this 10th 
Day of January 1789.

Survey for Charles HINES, a plantation containing of Seventy One acres in Wayne, 
Lying on Falling Creek and joining his own line Beginning at a poplar in the 
Marsh Branch and runs N 40 E 80 pole to a Hickory in Joseph SHAWS line then with 
his line N 55 E 40 pole to a Red Oak then with SHAWS line S 70 E 62 then E 9 
pole to a pine then S 100 poles to a stake an from thence to the Beginning.
