Mortgage deed made 27 Mar 1871 between Hiram L. and Lizzie Grant of the first 
part and Mary E. Moore of Putnam, Windham County and state of Connecticut of the 
second part, for $1000 a lot of land in Goldsboro known in the plan of the town 
as Lot No. 123 on William Street.

The condition of the above is such that if the said H. L. and Lizzie Grant shall 
fully pay to the said Mary E. Moore certain promissory notes of one thousand 
dollars and bearing same date with this instrument and due and payable April 1, 
1873, then this deed shall be void and of no effect, otherwise the said Mary E. 
Moore can sell for cash all or as much of the above named property as shall be 
necessary to satisfy the above named note in full.
