Indenture made August 31, 1802 between Solomon Herring and Jean Herring of 
the one part and John Carraway of the other part all of Wayne, for $500 land 
in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River and on both sides of Carraway 
Creek and on both sides of Marchew Branch.
One tract adjacent to a stake in Goshen Road near a meadow, Solomon's Path, 
old road that leads from the widow Frashars to James Green mill and 
containing 200 acres.
Another tract lying on both sides of the Marchew Branch patented by Solomon 
Herring 16 Jun 1783 adjacent to David Jernigan's line and 400 acres.
