Indenture made November 21, 1806 between Samuel Herring of Duplin and William 
Lewis of the one (sic) county, for 50 pounds land in Wayne on both sides of 
south prong of Sleepy Creek adjacent to John Beck's corner, to a poplar in 
Sleepy creek, Thomas Brown's line and containing 161 acres.
Witnesses: William Gully and Ulle Lewis
