Indenture made October 29, 1813 between Samuel Herring and William Whitfield 
both of Wayne, for 8 pounds 15 shillings land in Wayne on the Branch of 
Sleepy Creek adjacent to a pine Jno Dicksons, Needham Basses line and 
containing 100 acres.
One other tract being patented by me on 28 Aug 1795 adjacent sd Herring's 
corner, John Dickson's line containing 50 acres.
Witnesses: John Taylor, Lucy Hatch and Hariot Howard
