Indenture made May 27, 1835 between Lewis Herring and Elisha Pipkin both of 
Wayne, for $2,000 land in Wayne in the fork of Creek Swamp and Jones' Branch 
adjacent to Edmund Whitfield, Allen Whitfield, Prescot's corner and containing 
1,270 acres.
Witnesses: Willis Pipkin and Joel Hines Sen'r
