Indenture made 21 Nov 1806 between Simon Herring and William Lewis both of 
Duplin, for 50 pounds land in Wayne on both sides of the south prong of Sleepy 
Creek adjacent to John Becks corner, Thomas Browns line containing 161 acres. 
Witnesses: William Yully and Ulle Lewis. Registered Aug't Court 1813.
