Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of Two hundred and forty dollars to them pad by the party of the second part the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these present do bargain, sell and convey to said party of the second part and his heirs a tract of land in Brogden Township Wayne County, NC on the North and east by the lands of John William Hollowell on the south by the run of Killetts Branch and on the West by the run of Falling Creek, and entirely surrounded by said lands branch and creek, containing forty five (45) acres, more of less, being the land devised to said Nancy Hines and others by the will of Thomas C Overman, deceased.
