Between Everitt Joiner jr of the first part and Everitt Joiner Sr of the second part all of the county of Wayne and State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that the said Everitt Joiner jr for and in consideration of sum of six hundred and sixteen dollars to him in hand paid by the said Everitt Joiner sr, the receipt and payment whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Everitt Joyner sr a certain piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the Town of Goldsboro in the county and state aforesaid lying in the east side of the Wilmington and Raleigh Rail Road and known in the plan of the said town as number thirty nine and forty-adjoining lots of Willis Hall and bounded on the west by East Center Street and on the east by the lot of John Taylor on the north by Boundary Street and on the south by the lot of B R Brinkly containing one acre more or less, to have and to hold the said lot or parcels of land with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining unto the said Everitt Joiner sr his heirs and assigns forever. And I the said Everitt Joiner jr do for myself my heirs executors administrators and assigns warrant and defend the right and title of the above mentioned premisis unto him the said Everitt Joiner sr his heirs executors administrators and assigns forever. In witness whereof, I the said Everitt Joiner jr have hereunto set my hand and affixed by seal the day and date first above written.
