Gift Deed

Whereas John Lewis Sr is desirous of securing a comfortable living after he 
and his wife Abigail Lewis death, for his son James Lewis. 

Now then this indenture made this the sixth day of March AD 1879 between 
John Lewis Sr of the first part and James Lewis, son of John Lewis Sr all of 
Wayne and in consideration of $1 paid for lands adjoining the lands of 
Simeon Grady, W J Hall & others containing 336 acres. Also any horses, hogs, 
cattle, sheep or mules, household and kitchen furniture, farming tools, 
mechanic tools, carts, buggies, wagons and harneses and any credits that may 
be due.
