Indenture made Nov'r 28, 1883 between Penny Lewis, Nancy M Rose wife of 
James Rose and Sarah Rose wife of Burkett Rose all of Wayne. That the 
parties are tenants in common in a tract of land known as the Emily Lewis 
land and for the consideration of mutual benefits have this day agreed to 
divide the land between themselves as follows:

Penny Lewis is to have her part as is now set off to her and secured by this 
indenture of agreement land adjacent to Turner's Swamp, Rooty Branch, W J 
Exums corner, Nancy M Rose line containing 37 1/4 acres.

That Nancy M Rose wife of James Rose is to have her part as is now set off 
to her by this indenture adjacent to run of Turners Swamp, Penny Lewis 
corner, Rooty Branch, Exum & Lewis corner, Sarah Rose corner containing 31 
1/5 acres.

That Sarah Rose wife of Burkett Rose is to have her part as is now set off 
to her and secured by this indenture of agreement land adjacent to Turners 
Swamp, Nancy M Roses corner, W J Exums line containing 34 1/2 acres.
