This indenture made this 9th day of October one thousand seven hundred & 
ninety between Daniel Lofley of sd county & state aforesd sends greeting 
Know ye that I the sd Daniel Lofley for and in consideration of the sum 
of fifty pounds ____ to me in hand and paid at or before the insealing 
or delivery hear of unto Soloman Parsons of sd county and state aforesd 
planter receipt whereof I do here by acknowledge myself therewith fully 
satisfied contented and paid have granted bargained sold conveyed and
assigned confirmed and setover unto the said Soloman Parsons one sartin
tract or parcel of land with all its appurtenances lying and being on the
south side of Norhunta and on the North side of the slew containing two
hundred acres be the same more or less which sd lands was granted to Daniel
Lofley by patent bearing date the eighteenth day of May 1789 butted and
bounded as followith biz: beginning at a pine Jesse Woodard's corner and
runs with his line North twenty eight west one hundred and eighty two poles
to a white oak in his own line then with Jesse Bardins line south forty five
west one hundred and thirty two poles to a pine in Arnold's line then with
___ Black Jack then North fifty seven east one hundred and sixty two poles
to a pine then south thirty five east one hundred and twenty six poles to a
water oak then North one hundred and eight poles to a pine then south eighty
east two hundred and twelve poles to a post oak thence North one hundred and
sixteen poles to a post oak then a direct line to the beginning. To have
and to hold this plantation or tract of land with all edifices profit
priviledges and appertenances to the sd solomon Parsons his heirs and
assigns forever with all houses outhouses orchards gardens fences woods
under woods water & water courses with all profits commodeetes here___ment
to said same belonging otherwise appertaining unto him these Solomon Parsons
his heirs and assigns forever and that the sd Daniel Lofly as the ensealing
& delivery of these presents hath a good right title and estate of
inheritance in the premices hath a good right and lawfull authority to
bargain and sell the same in name aforesd unto Solomon Parsons his heirs 
and assigns forever and the sd Daniel Lofley for himself his heirs Exrs 
Admrs doth further promise that he sd land and premises is free & clear 
from the lawfull claim __ing demand of any person or persons whatsoever 
and that the same will warrant secure and forever defend unto the sd 
Solomon Parsons his heirs & assigns forever. In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and affixed my sela the day and year above written.
