Deed

Indenture made April 8, 1831 between David and John McKinne and Jonathan 
Pike all of Wayne, for $1,925 land in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River 
adjacent to a white oak on the river bank, Slocumb's corner, a maple in the 
marsh, stump on the road where the path that leads from the house makes into 
the road, road side the last corner of Lot No 2 laid off to Mathew Mckinne 
in the division of land made between the heirs of John McKinne dec'd, Thomas 
Kennedy's corner, Willis Hall's corner and containing 718 /4 acres.
Excepting: 81 1/8 acres on the one fourth part of the balance of the Lot No 
2 laid off to Mathew McKinne which said lot Thos Kennedy holds a deed for a 
small part of said lot and which exception included the right of Charles and 
Sarah Carraway in the balance of said Lot No 2.
