Sheriff Deed

By virtue of a writ issued by the court directing the Sheriff of Wayne being 
the third Monday of May 1820 commanding him that of the goods and chattels 
lands and tenements of John McKinne he cause to be made certain sums herein 
named which Jno W Washington, Charles Crow, Barna Cox and others in the said 
court lately recovered against the said John Mckinne for certain debts and 
also the further sum therein named to the said plaintiffs by the said court 
adjudged as well for the damages which he sustained by reason of the 
detaining said debt as for his costs and charges by him in his suit in that 
behalf impounded and that he should have the said monies before the justices 
at the next court to render the said plaintiffs the debts and damages 
whereof the said John McKinne was convicted as appears of regard. 

I William Raiford Sheriff of said county levied upon certain pieces of land 
in Wayne described as the lands and tenements of the said John McKinne and 
on the 29th day of June last past sold the same to Willis Hall of said 
county being the highest bidder for the price of $3,635. 

Said tracts are on the south side of Neuse River and east side of Falling 
Creek:
First tract contains 257 acres adjacent to Bradbury's line.
Second tract contains 86 acres adjacent to John McKinne's own line, 
Bradbury's line, Joshua Musgrave's corner.
Third tract contains 13 acres adjacent to John McKinne's corner, Brogden's 
corner, Blanchard's corner.
Fourth tract containing 369 acres appears by deed from John Hines to John 
McKinne adjacent to Barna Cox's line, McKinne's line, Joshua Musgrave's 
corner on the road side, Bullgrave Branch, Moses Percise's line.
Fifth tract contains 5 acres adjacent to a mulberry tree on the side of the 
road, Andrew Basses corner.
Sixth tract contains 13 acres adjacent to the south side of the road.
