Indenture made February 10, 1780 between William McKinne Senr and William 
McKinne Junr both of Wayne, for 1,000 pounds four tracts of land in Wayne on 
the south side of Neuse River:
One tract known by the name of Scotland Neck adjacent to a red oak on the 
river bank at the mouth of the branch at the bottom of the said Neck, Beaver 
pond containing 200 acres.
One other tract granted to Charles King adjacent to the side of Beaverdam 
and containing 150 acres.
One other tract granted to the Honorable Richard Spaight Esqr adjacent his 
own line, Thomas line, Jernigan's corner, Hines' corner to the beginning as 
by patent will appear bearing date 23 April 1761.
Part of one other tract granted to the aforesaid William McKinne Senr on the 
east side of Falling Creek adjacent to Crooked Marsh, Andrew Bass' line and 
containing 735 acres.
