Mason http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00022.html#0005225 April 18, 2022, 8:07 am Written: 1781 Transcribed by Sloan Mason slomas7@comcast.net Register of Deeds Duplin County Bk. 8, p. 114-115 Edward OUTLAW of Wayne Co., to Isaac HINES of Dobbs Co., NC 9 April 1781 This Indenture made this Ninth day of April, One thousand seven Hundred and Eighty One, Between Edward OUTLAW of the County of Wayne and Isaac HINES of the County of Dobbs and State of North Carolina of the other part, Witnesseth that the said, I, Edward OUTLAW for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fifty pounds Current money of the State aforesaid to him in hand paid by the said Isaac HINES at and before the delivery of these present I, the Receipt whereof the said Edward OUTLAW doth acknowledge Hath given granted and sold aliened ensealed? Released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien —— Release and Confirm and by these presents do sell unto the said Isaac HINES a Certain tract of land situate lying and being in the County of Duplin and State aforesaid and Containing One Hundred Acres of land and on the South side of the No. East Marsh and in the fork of the North East and Burn Coat Roads Beginning at at a White Oak by the North East Road near to Michael WILKINS and line thence North 118 poles to a pine by a pocosin thence East 136 poles to a pine by a pond thence South 118 poles to a pine thence to the Beginning. To Have and to Hold the said Bargained premises to him the said Isaac HINES his heirs and assigns forever and the said Edward OUTLAS for himself his heirs and assigns doth hereby Covenant and agree to and with the said Isaac HINES that the said Isaac HINES his heirs and assigns shall and my hereafter peaceably and Quietly Have Hold Occupy possess and enjoy the aforesaid land and premises without any molistation of any person Whatsoever. In Witness whereof I the said Edward OUTLAW have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written. Edward OUTLAW (Seal) Signed, sealed and Delivered in the presence of: Jas.
