Wayne County, NC, Deed Bk 28, pg 462 - 283 acres

Edward O. Pearsall and John D. Pearsall of Wayne County, NC to Mac
Williams of Wayne County, NC for the sum of $676 paid by said Mac
Williams do sell and convey a tract or parcel of land in Wayne
County, NC lying on both sides Bayles Branch beginning at a pine
on east side of said branch Mac Williams corner, etc. to Wright
Smiths line, etc. to the back lot that was layedoff to Martha Anne
Kornegay in the division of her father's land, etc. to a pine in
Jones' line to a stake in James Whitfield's corner and containing
283 acres. Dated 16 Oct 1847
