Wayne County, NC - Henry Howell to Robert Peele Deed, 1786

Wayne County, NC, Deed Bk 3, p 120

Indenture made on 7 Jan 1786 between Henry Howell and Dorcass his
wife, of Wayne Dounty, NC, of one part, and Robert Peele of Edgecombe
County, NC of the other part - for the sum of 160 lbs Specie paid
by said Robert Peele - do convey and confirm a parcel or tract of
land situated in Wayne County, NC lying in the fork of Bare Creek;
beginning at a White Oak on the Beaver Dam side and runs with 
Revell's line to Ham's line, thence to Board Tree Branch - being 
part of a tract that was Granted to James Jordon in 1782 - which
land was given to Henry Howell by James Jordon in his last will 
and testament, containing 242 acres.
