Wayne County, NC, Deed Bk 3, p 201

Indenture made on 7 Apr 1786 between Randolph Branch of Wayne County,
NC of the one part and Robert Peele of Edgecombe County, NC of the
other part - for the sum of 18 lbs current money of NC paid by Robert
Peele - do sell and convey a tract or parcel of land containing 100
acres, beginning at a stake at William Hamm's (now Peele's) etc. -
being a parcel of land granted to Edmon Revel by a Deed bearing date
1767 and on the north side of the south prong of Bear Cree, etc.
