Wayne County, NC - Robert Peele to David Peele, 1800 ~~~~~~~~~~ Wayne County, NC, Deed Bk 7, pg 58 - 220 acres Robert Peele of Edgecombe County, NC for the consideration of the love and good will that I bear unto my son David Peele of Wayne County, NC do give grant and convey a tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in Wayne County, NC on Bear Creek it being part of the lands I bought of Henry Howell by a deed bearing date 7 Jan 1786 and also the land I bought of Randolph Branch by a deed bearing date of 7 Apr 1786 containing 220 acres and being the lands David Peele now dwells on and is bounded as follows: the first part is supposed to contain one half of the lands I bought of Henry Howell at the lower part of said purchase beginning at the head of a little bottom that makes out of the said creek and runs by a line of marked trees between said land and Willis' Peele's land and part of the same survey to a pine corner tree in the back line of the patent line to the Board Tree Branch then down the meanders of the Board Tree Branch to Bear Creek and up the meanders of Bear Creek to the first station beginning for the second part of the said lands being the lands I bought of Randolph Branch at or above a stake on William Ham's corner (now Bell's) corner thence the various courses of the deed lines that Randolph Branch owned and sold to me to the first station, dated 1790 Robert Peele {Seal} Witnesses: Willis Peele, Jesse Peele, Jeremiah Horne Recorded January 1800 __________________________________________________________________ Copyright.
