NORTH CAROLINA, Wayne County

  THIS DEED, made this 22nd day of July, AD 1936, by N A Dail, 
a single man of Wayne County and State of North Carolina of the
first part, to Ernest J Pipkin, of Wayne County and State of
North Carolina, of the second part:

  Witnesseth, That said N A Dail, in consideration of certain
values and the sum of Ten Dollars, to him paid by said Ernest
J Pipkin, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath
bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain,
sell and convey to said Ernest J Pipkin and his heirs and assigns,
a certain tract or parcel of land in Grantham township, Wayne
County, State of North Carolina, adjoining the lands of Bayard
Burch, the Union Academy Church, the public road, and others,
and bounded as follows, viz:

  At east corner at public road, runs north 70 yards to corner;
thence west 70 yards to corner; thence south 70 yards to corner;
thence east 70 yards to corner with public road to corner; 
containing one (1) acre, more or less.

  This being the lot of land conveyed by deed from the Board
of Education of Wayne County to A G Burch, dated the 19th day of
November, 1927, and recorded in Book No 189, at page 470, of the
Wayne County registry, and by deed from said A G Burch to said
Noah A Dail, dated the 21st day of May, 1936, and recorded in 
Book No 200, at page 372, of the Wayne County registry

  I, Albert S Grady, Notary Public, do hereby certify that 
N A Dail, a single man, personally appeared before me this day
and acknowledged the due execution of the annexed Deed of 
Conveyance
