Deed made January 28, 1885 between Lucius & Frances Potts his wife to 
Elkanah Roberts all of Wayne, for $5 land in Wayne in Indian Springs 
township on one of the branches of Sleepy Creek adjoining the lands of 
Elkanah Roberts and Lucius Potts on the north side of the dividing line 
between Lucius Potts and Elkanah Roberts on said branch and the dam is to be 
built at the crossing known as the Green's causeway to the high water mark 
and depth of pond not to exceed 8 1/2 feet containing about 1 1/2 or two 
acres.
