Robert RAPER to Benjamin DICKINSON
Bk. 10, p. 192

To all whom these presents shall come Greeting. Know ye that Robert RAPER of 
the State of North Carolina & County of Wayne, for & in consideration of the 
the Sum of One Hundred Pounds to me in hand paid by Benjamin DICKINSON of 
the County & State aforesaid and the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge 
myself fully satisfied contented and paid have Bargained & Sold to the sd. 
Benjamin DICKINSON one certain tract or parcel of land containing by 
estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less lying & being in the 
County & State aforesaid on the north side of the Greate Branch beginning at 
a black gum in said Branch & running N to a pine then a long a line of 
marked? trees to a pine in John EVANS line then with sd. line to sd. Branch 
then the mor or less and the sd. Robert RAPER do and for myself my heirs 
executors administrators will warrant & defend the sd. premises to the sd. 
Benjamin DICKINSON to his heirs executors administrators and assigns from 
the claims of any person or persons in witness whereof I hereunto set my 
hand and seal this the 16 of October 1812.
