Indenture made January 1, 1869 between W. N. Rose and wife Elizabeth, 
Bethana Rose, Margaret Rose, Moses Pipkin, Lewis C. Pipkin, Rachel D. 
Pipkin, Marshal H. Pipkin and Martha J. Pipkin of the first part and 
Christopher C. Byrd of the second part, in consideration of $400 for land in 
Wayne on the west side of Kelly Branch, along the metes and bounds 
containing 100 acres.
Signed: W. N. Rose, Elizabeth Rose, Bethana Rose, Margaret Rose and Moses 
Pipkin
Witnesses: W. G. Hollowell and D. J. Ezzell
Registered: January 16, 1869

Note: It appears Maria Rose Pipkin, wife of Asher Pipkin, had died by 
this time as well as her husband. The Rose names are thought to have
been her siblings and the Pipkin names were her children.
