Bk 3, pg 324

Indenture made June 16, 1786 between Joseph Slocumb and Richard McKinne both 
of Wayne, for 125 pounds land in Wayne on the south side of Neuse River and 
head of Yellow Marsh Branch and containing 100 acres.
A second tract of land near the head of the Marsh Branch and containing 100 
acres.
Witnesses: Wm Jernigan and John Beck
