Mortgage Deed - Cancelled

Indenture made June 7, 1875 between Nicholas Smith and John H Powell both of 
Wayne, for $1 land in Wayne adjoining the lands of William Carraway, Addison 
Fields, Newman Potts containing 67 acres.
First that he is the owner and lawfully seized of said premises.
Second that he has good right to convey the same.
Third that the same is free from all incumbrances whatever.
Fourth that said J H Powell shall quietly possess the same and warrant and 
defend the title against all lawful claims.
The said party of the first part also conveys his entire crop of cotton, 
corn, fodder and peas growing or to become grown the present year.
J H Powell has agreed to advance during the present year merchandise to an 
amount not exceeding $75 in order to enable him to carry on his farming 
operations.
