Indenture made March 14, 1833 between Espias Ward and James H Lewis both of 
Wayne, for $500 land in Wayne on the south side of Naughhunty Swamp which 
said fell to John C Bardin and Major Bardin by the death of their brother 
Matchet Bardin and was divided between them:
First in the swamp with run of said swamp, M W Bardin's corner pine in a 
pond, Cheraco Branch and containing 67 acres.
Second adjacent to Jesse Bardin's line, John C Bardin's corner and 
containing 76 acres.
