Indenture made February 18, 1845 between Alby Whitley and wife Ann Whitley 
formerly Ann Carraway and Richard Casey all of Wayne, for $500 land in Wayne 
on the south side of Neuse River and on the waters of Caraway Creek adjacent 
to west side of the road which leads to Waitman Thompson's Bridge, in the 
marsh and containing 149 acres being the portion of land assigned to the 
said Ann out of the estate of her father John Caraway dec'd.
Witnesses: Wm Hollowell and R W Best
