Olive, N. C. Feb. 8, 1911 Mrs. Sudie & Hettie Pipkin My Dear Daughters As you both live together I will write to you together. I was glad to get your letters and glad to learn that you all were well. I hope you will continue to have good health and enjoy your stay at town. Well Marshall had moved to the house that Ernest lived in last year. It seems good for some body to live close by. I mean some of our folks you know. Nazro came and brought his new wife and stayed all night with us and carried Mary Sue home with him and gave us the baby. His wife is a daughter of John George. She lived near New Hope Church. Her father was Brother to Hawood Hayes wife. Her name is Lela George. She is a very nice good seeming woman. Well Florance wants to buy Hetties wash pot and wants to know what the price is provided you will sell it. Also Minnie Moore wants to buy Sudies tea kettle and wants to know the price. Please write at once and let me know if you want to sell them as I promised to find out for them and what you ask for them and if Howard has not disposed of his poultry wire and will sell it please let me know what he will take for it as I would like to buy it. I will be glad for you to come and stay with us some. Anytime you can. If I had any way I would send after you. I would be very glad to see any of you at any time. My love to you all. May God bless you all and keep you all safe from danger. I very much appreciate the present Hettie sent me it is very pretty since it was washed and ironed. Tell Lillian and Samuel and Margaret I want to see them. Tell Lillian she might come and stay with me some. Tell Howard and Ernest to come when ever they can. I will close by saying I remain your loving Mother until death. S. A.
