We have rumors that they had burnt Everittsville and Col. Collier's premises, but the rumor lacks confirmation. The fear is, that while the largest body of the enemy advanced in the direction of Goldsboro that the cavalry force have continued their depredations on the Road in the direction of Wilmington.
