The deliberations were characterised by great decorum and intelligence. A large multitude from the neighboring counties was in attendance, and many appropriate sermons were delivered. The discourse of Mr. Owen, formerly of this place, was replete with learning and eloquence. Two beautiful Churches have been erected in Everittsville and are occupied by the Methodists and Presbyterians.
